The reason they have the group cap is to help prevent auras from affecting too many units, hence making them overpowered. Another reason is...well...because not that many unit portraits fit in the little box on the bottom ;D

I'm not FOND of the total cap, but it's not that bad. You don't NEED large battles to win in War3, they just look neat. ;D

Once i wa splayin my first 6 vs 6 and when the game began the other team kept lagging and in about 10 minutes we dropped ALL of the other team and won....lol
