Then suddenly, without warning, several Guild highliners appeared in orbit and frigates started descending toward the desert planet. Tanks, troops, and MCV's poured out. Large aerial gun platforms swooped down to join the soldiers.

The lion had pounced...

The mighty war machine of the rejuvinted House Corrino pounded fortifications around Arrakis. Huge Howitzer tanks pummeled defenses, while soaking up immense amounts of damage. Sardaukar tanks poured in in such immense numbers, it boggled the mind. Sard. troops attcked havesters, tanks, and bases alike without fear. The unrelenting storm was becoming more dangerous than anyone could have imagined...

House Ordos, with their inferior base defenses and weaker units, could not hold up. Their was no possibility of escape with such large numbers of troops on Arrakis. The few remaining Ordos commanders waited in their bases as the mighty Lion enveloped them...

Now, only noble House Atreides and vile House Harkonnen have enough military power left to fight House Corrino. Should they fail, the Lion Throne will once more hold the ruthless Emporer of House Corrino, and darkness would spread throughout the Universe...


What do ya'll think? Cheesey enough? :D I've started basic programming, but I'm working on a TS-TD mod as well, and then I have to leave town again, and...oh, yeah, I still need some icons. I'll post what they need to look like soon. Thanks all!

whut ever..iun real story ordos would have known about the attack a month or two early thx to their intelligence and spies in EACH house and wouldv'e prepared..and sabotaged...

That is true, maybe you should adjust the story a bit Duke Leto.

OK...he has a point...um... :-I'll come up with something for the final release. But the main point is that Ordos was too weak militarily to do much about it. :- Some sabotage wouldn't have helped enough, given Corrino's overwhelming might.

No, but do not underestimate the intelligence of the Ordos. If they see such a huge unstoppable force coming, they RETREAT. You could say the Ordos retreated from Arrakis for no apparent reason. Then, a day later, the Corrino fleet arrived and the other Houses found out why the Ordos had done that.

you could make some of the incidentals for Imperial Buildable. Like the General, APC and Tank.

Yep. That's almost exactly what i'm doing...But I'm using Ordos ident. tags, and changing the images in ART.

Update: I've got the basic infantry working, the structures renamed, and the tank up and running...

I'm having a few problems already: The Corrino Plasma Turret won't fire...I'm using the Flame rurret's image with he devastators gun. Any one know why? ???

The Imperial APC has a giant hawk on it...It looks more like an Atriedes unit, and ther's no firing animation...Strange cuz there are gun ports...I'm gonna swap it for the Atreides APC, giving the Atreides version more HP and no weapon. Corrino's will stay the way it was originally planned...

Anywho, I'm gonna need to know how to swap the Ordos and Corrino icons, can I find that info here? ???

Update:Now I've got the ALL the Corrino Infantry working. :DTheir Tank and APC are fixed. I'm working on the Howitzer now...So far, Prebuilt Base and Free Units seem to work fine...And I havn't had to ADD any units yet...Cool! 8)BTW, I still need to know how to swap Sardakaur and Ordos icons. And, any ideas on why the Plasma turret won't fire? ??? That's Easy. First put this in the place of the current plasma turret.

Then, add it to the declaration section. Then put this in the bullet section.

Bullet = ORPlasma_B

ReloadCount = 30

Add it to the declaration section. Then in the bullet section find DevPlasma_B. Copy it and paste it below. Then rename it to ORPlasma_B. Now you can toggle the damage of the bullet.
