What does the "report to moderator button" do? And how do you become a moderator? Not that I want to be one.

You can send a message to the moderator when you think the post is wrong, insulting/flaming etc. Then the moderator will look at it

But Gob isn't better to let it be sended by IM?, I must say I check that more then email. And otherwise I get such strange emails

Mahdi is a global moderator and I'm admin so we don't need to be moderators for specific boards. alphabeta isn't around much anymore so Nema and EdricO can handle the duties since they both update the Editing site now.

They weren't all from you Timenn, there were a few from other people as well.

Try now, I changed around the member groups and forgot to put you as staff again.Oh and that should make you a global mod as well... if it works properly.

Since there are only 3 staff members around now, plus Davo (lurking) it won't be a popular board, but I don't want to miss anything important about the backend.

If one would be needed, Gob will ask you if you have any intrest of being one. At least that's how I became Mod of the tech forum..

As Nyar mentioned I usually contact people about becoming moderators.

And don't worry about the crackhead comment, we all make mistakes.
