here you go. one of last things from me to d2k.  its only alpha version, its not completed. but  here is example what it would like to be looking.  hardcore mode is under way.  

 

most of hardcore will be throught surviving reinforcements,   there are tileset problems too.  this wont be solved.  will force game to use map tileset not mis tileset.

 

in next release  there will be  changed music friles (  you will hear)  and  modification that is supported  by emperor mod. (this mod is not with tibed, all done by handjob, dont need tibed to  make mods for d2k)  units price smaller,   admiral units will have instant kill damage. plus rapid fire. ( example   sardaukar with plasma weapon   plus rapidfire )

 

to convert mp3 to aud  there is tons of programs,  i use the winamp   , i planned to  use heavymetal   music for  the emperor campagin, but i think will take music  michael john jarre ad  some   from movie babylon 5 and  battlestar galactica )

 

release is not a hotfix,  hotfix will be  done to single files, (if needed)

need to  make  10   houses on map but mis editor allow  modify 7 houses, which  sandworm/choam is bugged, using skirmish ai and adding him reinforcements with mcv, he sell his mcv !  adding ever 70k credits  not helps . so this also is frustrating,  cant spawn buldins, only units, otherwise would give  them  startign   so they wont sell if they start with  factory or barracks.

Grey part is just sand. Half of that map is sand (plain sand, no features).

If the coordinates were set properly you wouldn't run into that issue.

if u need a tester , i can help out, already did it with whole ix campain, i find map bugs glitches what is in need to fix , im  not sure about missions try to do something like IX campain with no mcvs and stuff alliences , what ever thats the best idea's i can come up with .

ok will   you need top find and capture  the  starport or  repair pad with mcv.  removing them is no sense, maybe in last 2 mmissions you will have to defend  your ally with only like 40units for hour , you get just 40k cash  4 repair pads (idea)

I just can't imagine playing dune with heavy metal music and being ok. I mean for personal use it's ok, sure, cuz thats the type of music he likes, but when u make a mod u have to add stuff which others will enjoy as well. Don't understand me wrong, but I told u, RTS/war games with heavy metal music.. they just don't fit :D

Nothing says RTS like childrens music. The chicken dance is the go to music for mods.

He didn't even finish the maps. Speaking of which, why do all of your units make arrows? Is it really necessary?

arrow was just  to  give hint, because some maps were big and  bases spread out , and before you could find any  others would just kill you,   i have no time to complete the emperor, i just let it go to your hands, maybe someone else  finish my project.  there will be no releases from me,  and dont plan any, i know its unfinished and maps are poor, but  what can do in hour  access to computer?

You can do a lot. Some projects in another forum (another game) took more that 10 years. You only need patience.

i had  maps for fremen campagin and for  ordos aps,   also new emperor maps  , im not good and mis  coding i always  make wrongs . missions cant be too hard but cant be easy, many maps has  need to captuer buldings and there is few where you wont have chance to get CY or RP
