We need a basic cameo style. Photographic cameos won't work - too difficult. What about cameos like the dII ones you sent me, vidiware (the wtrap and ref).

I've got to work on an ixian assault suit. It functions as an IFV, but will be shielded for infantry's protection.

Making non-photoperfect cameos is hard enough, especially as some will have to be unique (not a modified old one, like that naval yard). But remember we'll have to write the inis before you do all the cameos...

what can i do until cameo work? :-/

Im not good at anything special... I suck at shp (not made anyone before) voxels are 2 difficult for me ::) :-/

I can do some rules.ini things but not much...

Do you have a way of converting pcx (or something else...) to SHP? I know there may be programs out there which can... I don't have one, though.

Otherwise... what SHP editor does everyone have?

XCC Mixer (Not mix editor) can convert pcx to shp...

I have:

Will's:

Voxel Editor (The one with blade buggy thing in the folder)

Shp Editor

Voxel Editor II (The one with source code 2)

XCC:

Mixer (MAke Mix files)

Mix editor (Extract mix files)

AV Player  (is it useful)

INI Editor (is it useful)

Mod Creator/Launcher 0.9 (Use this when mod is finished, then its easier to install/unistall)

The rest of XCC Utilities

Other:

RAD Video Tools (Bink and Smacker)

XCC can do pcx to shp? Brilliant!

That'll be very useful.

Dunenewt, forget what I said about photographic cameos. If we can make photoperfect .pcx files, we can make them in shp... Hang on...

We can use Emperor style icons! I'm good at those, unless someone else wants to do other ones...

We still need more ideas, though.

If we're going to have 9 sides, we'll need them separate.

Unless... we can divide them up into 3 groups - Atreides-allied(eg fremen...), Ordos-allied and Hk-allied(Sardaukar etc)

Ini editing is the best thing, I think. Here are some of the main ideas for the sides:

- 9 different sides (difficult, to say the least)

- 3 groups with the same basic units (eg combat tanks for the atreides-allied sides)

- Make some sides unplayable, and have about 3 main houses.

If you can ini-edit it, then it's for you to decide, since you'll be doing the core task.

If you can give me a description of any unit, I'll try and do it in voxel.
