Made some solid progress with the Image Resource editor, got it loading DATA.R8 more or less fine, doesn't process custom palettes yet but that should be easy. DATA.R16 also loads without error, but looks a bit weird at the moment but I'm pretty sure that's just down to custom palettes not being loaded at the mo.

I'm using a mixture of Siberian Gremlin/Magic Team's research and my own research from my tileset editor, so I'm hoping to get it loading both R8 and R16 files properly. I'm also hoping to introduce more advanced features than the Sib Grem version, such as adding and deleting entries.

mvi, can you replace image the damaged building? I have R8 editor program "Dune 2000 image convertor 1.2". It's work cool for all R8 images except damaged buildings... When I raplace image damaged building the game is crush with description: "Invalid flag". I don't understand what flag it is..., but this bug only for damaged buildings. I can replace graphic new building and the game work correct. If your R8 editor can replace damaged building image, then I'd Like to test it, because it is very help in my mod.

For an example if I replase DATA-2679 image whith your editor and the game will not crush then will be great.

What i wanted to do was edit the harkonnen Devastator's Twin turrets to have rotate

a new decker format lower armour.
