R8 and R16 Graphics

Hi, can somebody give me the R8 and R16 graphics of Dune 2000? I can't get the CD to install on win7. I can't get win98/me to work properly on virtual pc and virtual box. I can't get the data out of the portable dune 2000 version. I did get win xp to work on virtual pc with an IE test version from Microsoft website, but it blocked at the "not genuine" or something. I don't know why microsoft gives such crap .vhd's, they used to work.

Make them taller (they are not pipes) and change the color to the original. Your artwork shows you have great potential. Bravo! We definitely need such a quality artist here!

Thanks. Yeah, they look more like pipes... than walls.

Getting the color right is difficult. The real icon's are very small and getting a color sample is often not the right one.

Looks good, but why not create some of the missing icons for

• emperor palace icon
  
• smugglers factory icon
  

would be useful as the buildings already exist.

I tried to make the 'smugglers factory', but it's difficult to get that real authentic feeling.

I used the big render image of the Atreides heavy factory and the clone tool in Gimp and went crazy with it.

I pimped the Sardaukar logo so it fits in with the Dune 2000 style. The eye is more red, better contrast, bright pixels removed and slightly darker just as the the other logos.

Fancy creating some logos for the other factions, e.g. Mercenaries, Smugglers and Fremen?
