I'd say I'm in the camp of "don't make a new one", but mostly because these movies hollywood has been making are crap. JJ Abrams is definitly not my favorite person. Glad he's gone or Dune would have turned into mindless drivel.

Wait... that happened 10 years ago. Let me correct. Glad he's gone or Dune the story based off of the novel by Frank Herbert would have turned into mindless drivel.

I really don't mind seeing other people's interpretation of the novel, but I don't want to see "Hey how can we make money off of..."'s interpretation of the novel. I guess this is Brian's only way of "getting away" with rewriting the original book to suit his new past-time.
