Fed2k Hall of fame

I was thinking that perhaps we should launch a 'Fed2k Hall of fame' to honour those who have contributed to the site over the years.  We could start with 3 inaugural members, then each month another would be voted in.  Obviously Gob and Mahdi would be two of the first, but does anyone else have any suggestions?

Like the awards thread, but maybe something we could sticky, just to remember some of the older members, like Alphabeta3000, Ordos45, etc, who don't visit any longer, but gave a lot to the site.

It would be more about looking back than about current members, although people such as yourself, Dante, Edric and a few others would be worthy of inclusion.

Considering how few people post here these days, it wouldn't be representative of a theoretical "best valued poster".

Then again, who strives for such ideals these days? :P

If I didn't know better, I'd suggest an opposite: where we vote for the people we dislike the most. :P

Thankfully, I do know better, and I'd like to say now that it's a horrible idea that should never be implemented.

Lets just let the achievements of various members, past and present, speak for themselves.

Though we should all venerate Gob. Not trying to be obsequious, I just appreciate recent decisive action. Even if I do feel a bit guilty for the part I played. The mark of a true leader, that, to make followers feel both pleased and ashamed at once.   ;)

I just think that some of the members did so much for this site, but some of the modern members would not realise this.  I'm still thinking about how the idea will work.
