How do you upload your own profile pic

Um just type the words normally it's not as if the '@' key changes anything.

If by pictures other than avatar you mean sig images then the common method is to link a picture. Eg:

If you have Dune related avatars to put up, I would think it could go up as a public image that anyone can use if approved and uploaded by Gob. But as for private avatars that does not happen often.

Gob is the forum Administrator/Overlord/Mostly Benign Dictator. What he says goes, basically.

And you link pictures with the [iMG] code. That is, [iMG]in front of a web address that leads to a picture, eg: http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a29/Taraza/funnelweb2.jpg,'>http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a29/Taraza/funnelweb2.jpg, and [/iMG] (note the / sign) at the end of the address. So the finished version would look like this in the message: [iMG]http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a29/Taraza/funnelweb2.jpg[/iMG] , but would show up as a picture on the boards. Note that linking to other people's pictures in this way is often considered rude, and you should really only use your own.

The photobucket website is quite easy to get. Just click "chose" for the picture and you will figure in which folder your pic is. If you've figured the FED2k website, chances are you'll get that one as much.
