That's odd...I thought Azzurri was a female too.  Guess I was wrong. :-

She is, but as of late has been pretty inactive.  :)

And back on-topic, I remember a nasty thing I did in 2nd grade. The kids of our class were writing stories and I was paired up with my best friend, Matthew. On the day when we read our stories, Matthew and I started arguing about who got to take the story home. He was stubborn and wouldn't give me the story(Consisting of a whopping TWO pages! :D) so I devised a nasty plan. I devised a game *cue evil grin*. I had a marker, and I told Matthew and two other kids that I would drop it beneath our desks(Our desks were all together in a group of four and the story was on Matthew's desk) and whoever got it first would get to keep it. Fast-forward. I drop the marker beneath the dekss, everyone goes under...Except me. :D I snatch the story, stuff it into my desk, and join them. When we get back up, Matthew notices the missing story - and blames another one of the kids! :D I eventually put it back, though, my guilt got the betterof me. ;)

This one's about computer games:

I used to play Need For Speed 2 with my friends a long time ago. We loved that game, and played it all the time (Important: We played in two player mode on one computer where the two players share one keyboard. The computer used was mine.).

Now, I'm usually a decent car simulator player, but in this game, I was godlike. In fact, I never lost a single race. Perhaps this was why I liked the game so much. My (seemingly stupid) friends thought I was practising all day long to beat them like that, and constantly asked me for tips and advice (they wanted to learn from the

I've heard rumours that she is a female. However, my doubt is fueled by the following points:

* "She" plays World of Warcraft and she got three months of play time for Christmas.

* "She" plays other computer games like UT2004 and Midtown Madness.

* "She" wrote a review of F.E.A.R.

* "She" uses 1337 or abbreviations like '1' instead of 'one' at times.

* "She" plays Counter Strike! (Not only that, but she could state what she liked/disliked about CS 1.5, CS CZ and CS: Source!!!)

* "She" is able to list the specifications of her computer. Not only that, but "she" has also determined the specs of her next computer!

* "She" has tried Windows Vista Beta 2.

* "She" knows that there are web browser alternatives to Internet Explorer.

* "She" likes football.

I mean, "she" could do one of those things... But both? If "she" is a girl, and these things are true, I'd like to marry "her" at once!!! Of course, I'd need to check if "her" looks are good enough, though... Azurri, please send me a picture of you.

Is it really that difficult to believe that a girl could be that into computer games??  If she's into that, the sports aren't such a stretch either.  Personally, I really think she's a girl.  Why would she lie about that?  Go for it Cyborg...make your move. ;)

Oh, good story! Did your friends ever figure out your little scam?  Is there a chance they may read it here?  That might cost you points.

I have updated the list a little. Girls can like games, but to this extent? I'm about to call teh Guinnes Book of World Records here! (Perhaps after I've asked her to marry me.)

About my story:

I told one of my friends about it like three years after we stopped playing. We were having fun talking about the old days, and because I wanted to see the look on his face if he knew what I had done, I told him. If I remember right, he made a futile attempt at strangling me while I laughed.

Are you saying this is strange for anyone, or just a girl?  If a guy could be that involved in the games, why couldn't a girl?

Just ask her to send you a picture of her and seal the deal.

Heh, I've often wondered what my old roommate would say if I told her the truth about that note.  Back then, she probably would have socked me in the nose.  Years later...I'm hoping she'd get a laugh out of it.

Because... She is a girl! There's difference between boys and girls. Girls are supposed to say: "How do I turn this thing on? I don't even know what it's called!"

Just ask her to send you a picture of her and seal the deal.

You're implying that I'm such a stud that I can just "seal the deal" with anyone?

I readily confess that I fall into that category.  However, I'm sure that there are some exceptions to the rules and Azzurri may be the one.

Perhaps I was being presumptuous-- I'm making no judgments concerning your studliness.  I guess though, if the two of you exchanged pictures it might be the start of something wonderful.... ::)

Well, call me what you want, but I don't see this as the place of getting a girlfriend... Because she's a "normal" girl, she only reads the gaming, technical and Emperor forums... She will never read this. Which is probably a good thing.

[hide]Azzurri, you can send your picture to me by IM, and I'm sure to get in touch with you. Let's keep it secret so no one knows about it. I just tricked chatfsh into believing I wasn't interested. Good thing that she's a woman and lacks the technical insight to reveal hidden text.[/hide]

It's really hard for me to tell when you're being facetious.  Of course I can read what's in the hidden text.  I was just teasing about this whole thing, but if you're really getting that upset about it.  Sorry.

Okay, so I haven't offended you...good.

I didn't remove those post because I was afraid I offended you or anyone else.  I removed those for my personal benefit.

Are we sort of off topic?  Or maybe this conversation qualifies as underhanded and duplicitous. ;)

Personal benefit?... They raised your post count. No need to remove them.

I believe we are off topic, yes. About time to post a new story. I'll think about one.

Azzuri may have a case if "she" didn't always post pics of "her brother" and if "she" didn't always play those video games on "her brothers" nick.

Yes, that is rather suspicious behavior.  Azzurri!! Are you a boy or a girl?? 'Fess up at once!!

As promised, her Vileness does have another story for tonight.  I will preface this with, I met friends for drinks tonight

That was cruel Chatfsh! Must have really annoyed you.

Oh boy-- if that troubled you, I'd better keep the cat story to myself. 8)

The really sad thing about the story above is that I have absolutely no idea what he did to annoy me...though I remember the revenge very well.  And I think I was dating him at the time I conjured that plot... :-

Hehe, I'd probably do the same thing myself. Good story! *Notes down not to ask chatfsh for help with grammar* (By the way, chatfsh, I noticed you use the spell checker on the forum, so I wouldn't ask you for help anyway.)

Ok, here's a little story: Just before class started, I filled a flask with water and emptied it on someone who, in my opinion, deserved it. He immediately grabbed the bottle and filled it with water, and started chasing me. We ran for a long time, and I was very determined to not let him get his revenge. When we finally returned to the classroom, almost at the same time, my enemy had forgot to get rid of his bottle, which wasn't empty. We were quite late for class, and the annoyed teacher asked me what was going on. I answered "this guy chased me with a water bottle, threatening to soak me!"

Before the other guy had the time to answer ( the teacher didn't notice that he was the wet one ), he was commanded to the principle's office. 2-0 to me!

Soak + principles office! Cruel * 2. I felt a little bad for the latter, but only for a second.

The strange thing is that you are allowed to defend yourself and explain the situation while at the principle's office. Luckily, the guy was so stupid, he was unable to convince the principle that I had done anything to him... (Which shouldn't be hard at all, considering he was the only one with wet clothes.)
