Caid Ivik
An interesting site from one jeweller and kabbalist, with some interesting remarks about ie ethymology of Kwizatz Haderach.http://www.ka-gold-jewelry.com/p-articles/dune.phpBut really, what do you think that are mostly used substances for jewels in duniverse? Drop of water in a silver case? Gems from Ekaz? Or the only real jewellry of pure reason and noble motives? ;)

TMA_1
well, jewelry from the Dune universe would have gold, silver, emeralds, diamonds, topaz, and all of the other kinds of precious metals and rocks that we know of now. Maybe there would be different kinds of gems based on different materials and pressures formed within the crusts of different planets, but it would relatively be the same. Dante
Soostones. Duh. :P Well, maybe not the most used, since they would probably be quite expensive... But certainly the most highly sought after.
Mihail
What in the hell are soostones, Dante? I can't find them in the Encyclopaedia, so I have a sneaking suspicion that they're in the books, which I don't want to go through... MrFlibble
Soostones are mentioned in the last two books. They're found on a world called Buzzell or something, and are very precious.
