As far as I know there isn't a thread about this already, and I figured some of you might be interested.

As I expected it runs badly on my neolithic era PC, so I'll stick to Tetris. I definitely will be playing this game when I upgrade my hardware, though.

I already played it - both ED and LC mission - and it went playable on my PIII 733 with GF5200; seems to be a good game, finally a good old-school RTS  ;D

i dont like it that much either ....

Imma complete the single player but thats as far as it goes. Doesnt give me a good rts feeling ... ill just play it for the story.

And the quest continues to find a good RTS to compeat with Emperor

I too thought it was an ok game at first, but after playing it a bit now it's just been sitting on my hdd. I did like it when I first tried it, but sadly when it gets boring it gets deleted.

Just played the demo, and I'll say that I'm more likely to get this game for the continuation of the story (I have Earth 2150 and The Moon Project), than for the actual game itself.

The demo only slowed down slightly when I zoomed all the way out at max settings at a resolution of 1024x768, so I'm confident that the full version will be of tolerable speed, as far as performance goes. Apparently, some of the crew that brought Earth 2150 into fruition also took part in the development of Earth 2160. Once again, it looks like the LC are going to be my favourite faction.

The single LC and ED campaign missions were nothing exciting and didn't seem to require as much thought as I expected, compared to missions in Earth 2150 and The Moon Project. Hopefully, skirmish will give the game more replayability.

The Superstorm Mod should also make things more interesting.

Now if only it was possible to script art of defense maps for this game...  :O ;)
