Orson Scott Card names Serenity "Best science fiction film, ever." (no spoilers)

Should probably be int eh other thread, but Gorram it this is Orson Scott Card calling Serenity the greatest sci-fi flick ever!  He even say's that he'd rather watch Serenity again over any version of Enders Game that does not replace Serenity as best sci-fi movie ever....

"And I'll tell you this right now: If Ender's Game can't be this kind of movie, and this good a movie, then I want it never to be made.

I'd rather just watch Serenity again".

Wow, that's certainly something to say about this movie. I've been wanting to re-read the Ender series, I loved its atmosphere (especially from Bean's perspective). I got a girl going with me tomorrow to see it, and a girl from work next week so I'm contributing to the cause!

I came so close to seeing that last night.  Unfortunately, and unexpected dilemma came up, and I opted for getting paid sometime in the next three weeks over making it to the movies on time.

Well, despite universals saying otherwise, I think they wrote it off after alst weekend.  While before Iw as seeing lots of comemrcials, I've only seen one sicne sunday.  And it was on monday.  The DVD's being released before christmas....

Loved this movie.  Though I would have liked the marketing to be a bit better.  I think that this movie would have appealed to non-sci-fi fans as well as sci-fi fans.
