well they are banking on it being amazing -which from what I have seen it is.  They are making the full series...

well It sounds great I've heard of the books and read some of it's first book but that is all. Let us see what the movie brings us

My only problem right now is that all the attention is on Lion Witch Wardrobe, which is actually the second book in the Chronicles, not the first.

Yeah but it is the most famous of the books, so there is undoubtebly going to be focus in that one.

The BBC already made a film on the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Scared the carp outta me tbh.

that is what I'm afraid of...

books ate mostly well known and then Hollywood makes a movie about them and BANG gone is that special feeling you got with the book.

even LOTR was not as good as the book Dune too for that matter

point being: you got your own feeling with the book you're own way of seeing things how things look etc. No hollywood filmmaker can ever make a movie that resembles wath is going on in your mind while you are reading the book.

I think they're doing it in the order in which he wrote them.

I personally thought the originals were excellent. Though I can't imagine them being commercially acceptable for most adult consumption, they were entertaining.
