Hello everybody!

Anybody still remembers me? Harkonna, BB, Dunecrab? i'm not sure about the third name, i used that to play on internet; thus i don't know if i ever mentione it here. I've started playing emperor a bit once again, and my mind came to these forums, i remembered i've been here. the 2 corrino creations in the "creations" center from BB and Harkonna are mine yes, in case you are wondering. i'm still scouting if i updated more, been so long since i've last been here. perhaps i remember your names when i see them, not sure. if the site's still active at all that is (seems to me, cause the last post was today i noticed). so...

No I dont know you and I am shure you dont know me.

The game is very much still alive. you're not alone in coming back to emp and this forum.

This forum is still alive and kicking. If you haven't already done, then check though some of the other threads and find out how to get online these days, where everyone is playing and come and thrash us.

Nice! i'm at the moment with my aunt, and the pc here isn't exeptionally good  ;), but once i get home (2 days) i'l be able to play emperor again. I'm still doing the campaign now. i'm pretty much at the start with harkonnen, at the part where the tleilaxu invade kahlahan with atreides, and invading kahlahan with ordos (haven't succeeded in this mission jet). i'm scrolling of the site again for nice maps and stuff. i'm looking at your link now  ;D.

I played single player campaign once....<thinks back with nostalgia>...but its all online from now on.

Online play is amazing, especially when you actually beat someone  :D

Hope you do make it online.

I've done it earlier, under the account name dunecrab, as i said  :). i believe i won erhh.... 0 battles out of 10 or so. well perhaps the co-op campaign. exept for the fact it used to screw up (1 player unable to do anything in the mission choose screen, and the other only able to type), i liked it back then. i reconized Gobalopper as the moderator around here, i don't know any other. i'l try playing online again at home, though i think i'm gonna suck anyway. i'm the person you find setting up a huge impressive base. during all this time i now put up my defenses more effectively, but that is just something that only works versus AI enemies  :(.

Well, online play will only make you a better player, if you can learn. The better players are those that learn quicker.

I, of course, learn the quickest  8)

I'm a pretty good (well, depends on what you call pretty good) warcraft 3 (+tft) player. i know the basics i guess, still, emperor's a lot different. well i'l see, first some more campaign practice =P. btw, i forgot, are there differend servers or something? or chatrooms? else, where can i find you guys?

imo the first 3 rulez to play online r:

1.: SPICE RULEZZZ

2.: BE FAST AND AGRESSIVE

3.: NEVER STOP BUILDING

aftzer u can handle that u need to do a good micro and good strats....but for living inn the game and to dont get rushed un need these 3 rulezzz

There are currently 3 different servers, which seem to be coming up and down faster than <insert funny here>.

They should be listed in the link some msgs above.

The best way to play online will ALWAYS be found on this forum. Nowhere else ! hehehe

nice points 2.....these r important for playing the game relay good..........but u know.....i try to tell me my 3 points before i go in a game everytime just to have a good start and an agressive handkling, coz the unit knowledge and the strat knowledge is only knowledge.....i can do this in my dream un know?.....for example it cant happen that i try to kill a mino with gasmen...hehe...but it can happen that i forgot to built or to seve my spice .....thats y these r my fav points

lol i dont wanna be mean but if u never played online , then all what u think u know and can do is all worthless , coz the guys that play these days are so good. i would consider myself in the top 50 best that ever played this game , but i havent played in a few years and now people are just running circles around me.

anyways i dont mean to discourage u but u will see , mission dont teach u jack about this game online, their are so many starts , bo's and different thinks u have to combine that make it really fun and really hard on u.

I'm not trying to become a pro, just to have some fun. i don't think players will have a ridicolous/noob ally on me though.

Of course we ally you we need all the players we can get.So climb onboard the highliner Commander and lets meet on the battlefield ::),if it got spice I have to mention 8) ;D

Yea u can ally withsome.  The host picks the teams usually.

Example:  Im the host with cbrick,spazelord, and kalony.  I pick spaze n me vs cbrick n kalony.  We usally switch up teams after each game.  So quit worrying ull get an ally.  Unless its a ffa=free for all.

lol if i was in a ffa i would probebly loose in the first 5 seconds lol i can barely win on the sega dune
