I'm super-hyped for this movie.  Nolan is as great a director as they come, Goyer is a decent enough writer and Nolan will fix anythign he screws up, the cast is amazing, and Warner Bros. is letting the cretive team do there thing isntead of interfering.

As I understand it, the film is more centered around actual character developement and not flashy, poorly directed and filled with an E.R.-Ocean's Eleven hack and villain celebrity cameos by Hollywood's down and out.

This is going to be good.

Christian Bale as "Batman" interesting choice. Someone at Warners seems to have finally have done their homework can't wait to see more of this production.

Most batman movies had great casts. And altough i enjoyed them pretty much all. None of them turned out to be extremely great. Still anxious to see it though.

Although I can't say Burton is my favorite director, I do have to say that his two takes on Batman were better than the other two.

CBC is airing all of the Batman movies. They finished the second one tonight.

hmm hey did you hear that rumor mahdi that Aronofsky (sp?) was going to do the directing for it? I heard about that somewhere I am probably wrong though.

At one point Warner Bros. had this film, a film called Batman:  Year One written and directed by Aronofsky, and Batman Vs. Superman written and directed by Wolfgang Peterson all in pre-production.  They cancelled Aronofsky's film and postponed Petersons until they finish three just batman and three just superman movies.

What's up with all the comic-books movies all of a sudden? And I really hates the "versus" titles...

After Xmen 1 and SpiderMan movies were successful, they deicided to flood the market with superhero movies.

It is just like Reality TV.

Big brother and Survivor (and a couple others) came on the air and were huge successes.

After survivor 1 came out I heard on the radio they were coming out with about 100 more reality tv shows. And it seems they have been right.

As for the bachelor and crap shows, I don't watch them. Except one, but that is only because my two roomates watched it and got me hooked.
