I like how our Primeministers go on comedy shows and get rock stars to talk at their "coronation" (Bono was at Paul Martins thing). They even get their picture taken with people across the country while drinking (classmates and I). And Chretien even attempted to defend himself (actually went back to sleep according to a website) from an intruder once. :P

Not to mention Bush didn't even know how to pronounce the Canadian primeminister name(as proven on Talking to Americans.

Didn't Chretien also sneak out of his hotel once while at some summit?  The guards never knew he was missing until he walked back in the front door?  (Or am I thinking of another French speaking leader?)

I liked the canada has the longest freespan bridge in the world fact. :) you know between PEI and n.b. ;)

We may not have better technology overall but we do have pretty good technology. Maybe equivilent to the US? We have one level ? bio place in the prairies and is one of the few in North america (under 10?) I remember them talking about it when anthrax was going around or something. (it has smallpox maybe? :-)
