There is the commercial where bush basically says that Kerry will not support our troops. It talks about how he would reject many weapons initiatives if he became president.

It talks about some of them, like technological advancements of the footsoldier, and even a growth of the amount of B-2 spirits (the most beautiful plane in the world.lol)

the commercial disturbes me though, as soon as I heard bush say stuff like withholding B-2's was bad, i got a little creeped out. Do you know how much all of this spending will cost? all of the equipment and weapons advancements that the commercial stated are nuts! Dont get me wrong I dont like Kerry, but this commercial cannot help bush, it makes him out to be one spending junky. He is frankly, especially lately, and this just makes him look worse.

what do you guys think?

I haven't seen the ad myself, but it sounds like he's trying to tell us that, through said spending, he's supporting the American troops in Iraq, blah blah blah, while Kerry, if elected, won't.  And thus, Kerry is the living embodiment of Satan himself.

You have to remember that the vast majority of ad campaigns are aimed at pointing out the opponent's faults, rather than their own virtues.

oh I know, but what I am saying is, with this ad, how could anybody embody these virtues without being some hick that has no clue about spending issues, and evnetually creating some creepy militant empire.lol

I find it hilarious how the ad all but comes out and says that the Bush administration values war over all else.

"There are no bills in congress as important as those on defense" or something like that.

I've seen an add he has on TV that says John Kerry voted to send the troops to Iraq then to cut there funding afterward. I think thats a fair one. If he was agienst the war he shouldn't be sending are troops out there just to cut there water. >:(

Of course, most people will vote for him just to keep Bush out. :(

Yep!

We can thank Hitler's scientists for the original design.  Weird how even now the advances wrought by a madman can be utilized.

It was effective twords me....

When they got to the "kerry does not support our troops having body armor" I was like "YEAH GO BUSH!" I dont think it hurts Bush and I dont think it will make too much of a difference. I dont like either one very much so it really dosent matter.

The United States ought to ban all political advertising and make the candidates travel from state to state giving speeches. Maybe there should be a televised weekly debate between all of them---and I do mean all of them. It's sad that our political system works based on who can sell his brand of democracy better.

yeah, the flying wing though goes back even further than the reign of hitler, though it was originally a german design so yeah, and the nazis did perfect the designs of the flying wing, so you are right. darn.lol ;)

I am just glad I am not the only one that wasent disturbed by it. I mean if you add all of what bush mentioned in the ad (and that isnt nearly all of what he wants to do) then you would have to calculate all he plans in the billions, multi-billions. good gravy. I mean I hate kerry, but bush is pushing my buttons.

I think Edric's sarcasm says all of it, and furthermore the B-2 comparison is completely out of order because well, that was in the cold war era ::)

I'm curious about the commercial though, does anybody have a link?
