Hey, I'm trying to delete everything I don't absolutely need on my PC, and while going through Add/Remove Programs I found the following:

Win Favorites

Windows SR 5.0

Windows XP Hotfix - KB823980

WinTools Easy Installer

An easier solution would be to format and reinstall windows. That works the best. (unless your just cleaning the hard drive for stuff you dont use.)

Only thing i know of would be the Windows XP Hotfix - KB823980

but it would depend on OS.

before and are probaably safe to remove, although I would wait a bit to see any second opinions.

While we are speaking of this I have several of these hotfixes that I have discovered:

I know that is alot of stuff but it can't be possible that I need all of them. My current OS is Windows XP  Service Pack 1. I think I only need the one that says Service Pack 1a but I am not sure anybody know the correct answer?

My list is 3 times as long as yours for fixes. And I have service pack 1. Apparently I have service pack 2 also. didnt think that came out yet ???

Funny how win98 worked perfectly fine without any updates to the OS.

So I don't know what you need. maybe uninstall all of it then go to windows update page and reinstall the ones you "need".[attachment archived by Gobalopper]

The update page is the reason in the first place I have all of those fixes. lol It listed every single one of them it left me scratching my head. WIN 98 did work well without all of the updates so much for progress I guess.

Actually no the score is real.  That's what's sad...

I racked up that record when I was home sick one day.  Besides, if I wanted to doctor the score I would have given myself like 1000-0, not 40-0.  Free cell is a very easy game if you just play out your moves in advance and keep track of the cells in your head.  There's nothing random you have to guess at like in solitaire.

My highscore in Minesweeper at beginner level is 13 seconds (81 places, 10 mines). I can give you a screenshot... and not it will not be edited :P

I just walked into my mother on her laptop yesterday .. and guess what she was playing.. . .FreeCell. . pretty scary. . she needs help opening OpenOffice .. or finding here files on here home drive. . but FreeCell is easy. .
