im a big fan of westwood games... i have C&C , C&C red alert , Dune 2000 , Emperor batle for dune , C&C Red alert 2 , Yuris revenge, renegade ... Just dont have tiberiun sun :( This game is cool? Do u recomend me to buy ????? :)

Even though it wasn't one of my personal favourites, it is a very good game, and you have to complete the set.

Yes, buy it, the gameplay is intense and the storyline and atmosphere have never been surpassed by any other RTS.

Tiberian Sun is a very good game indeed and like Ghosthunter said the storyline is awsome. One of the best RTS games of all time I think. I would recomend that you buy it.

Tiberium Sun is probably my least favorite C&C game (I haven't tried Firestorm). Red Alert, on the other hand, is an absolute master piece (Hell March, anyone?). On top of my list are Emperor and Generals, though.

I have to agree with you on the TS front, but I didn't care much for Generals either. It was too much of a departure from what CnC is all about.

EA did screw up westwood. CnC is all about good story lines, long campaigns, and weird technology (tesla tanks, chrono tanks, sub-terrainian tanks) not realistic (or nearly) weapons and such in a 5 mission campaign  :P

Oh I almost forgot, cheesy live action is also a must in a CnC game

The most unforgiving thing is that they cut out the FMVs, they were the best thing about playing a CnC game.

I was replaying the original Red Alert a while ago. Definately the funniest Westwood game. The acting is so bloody aweful that it's awefully fun to watch. ;) Plus, it has Hell March. Great track.  :)

Come on, alright towards the end they began to hire professional actors, but before that it was terrible seemings as they only used in house staff.

Khan is quite right. Does anyone recall the death scene of a certain general, who went horizontal after his dear partner gave him some poisoned tea. That one was really bad. ;)

I recently bought Red Alert (10 euros) to test the appeal.

Ok Tania is a funny unit, but apart that i don't get into the gameplay.

I have abandoned pretty soon, may be i should insist a little more...
