Different music with same house

Is it possible to listen to a sound track of a different house than the house you chose?

For example, if u choose Ordos, can u listen to Hark music?

Logically, no.  The music files are on the same CD as the missions, IIRC.  But there may be a way to change things.  Maybe if you were playing a skirmish or something, you could edit the installed music files so that they play music from another house (copied from one of the CD's), or any music, for that matter.

So maybe someone here knows how to edit the installed music files so that they will be able to be heard whenever you want to? I don't have a clue about editing games configurations... so please, can someone here do it?

Try burning the cd's, but swap the music files.

There's an ini file you can change - but you'd need to copy the music files to your HDD (All 150MB of them) if you want to listen to all music.

Yes, I don't understand why they didn't just copy the musics from Dune 2 and Dune 2k. And added a jukebox....

There is more music in Emperor then all the past Dune games. The Dune II music was redone for Dune2k actually and you can download that from the site. And if you liked it I have the Dune music as well from Cryo's game.
