Suboids and Ix

IIRC Frank Herbert says in GeoD that Ix is a confederacy of citystates. I think that if BH & KJA just would have let the House Vernius die, it would make more sense (after the ending of Vernius rule, Ix would have become said confederacy).

I would think more that it's a confederacy of "production districts" or even corporations operating throughout the Imperium. This sort of idea would suggest a very far flung group, that is mostly headquartered on Ix.

Funny thing. I enjoyed the scenes on IX the most out of the House Prequels, especially the gorilla warfare thing they had going on.

If the suboids were not created by FH, why there are suboids in Emperor?

E:B4D have the rights of the DL movie, not the books, and there`s no suboids in DL dune.

The suboids could be humans captured by Ix with brain implants? Or maybe Ix buy the suboids from a small genetic house? Or androids disguised as humans, to avoid problems with the BJ?

I don't think that they are androids, as if they were the Ixians would not have the problem of the suboid rebellion in the prequels.

There are no tanks, and no House ordos in the DL movie, either.  WestWood had rights to use David Lynch's view of the Dune universe (i.e wardrobes, set styles, etc), but they also used their own imagination, and probably adopted the whole Suboid idea from the prequels.

In Emperor the suboids also had a rebellion.

Why can`t the disguised androids have a rebellion?(Bluterian Jihad, Matrix, Terminator...)

Westwood took the idea of the IX, Tleilaxu, Suboids, the real ornithopters wings from the other Dune novels and prequels (Ordos from DE) , because these things were not in DL Dune.

The Suboids are mentioned as having teamed up with the Tleilaxu and rebelled against their Ixian masters. You than destroy them, ally with Ix and p-off the Tleilaxu. They don't play a major part in Emp, by any stretch of the imagination.
