Yes, grenades will blow up everything.

Also, the smart bullets solution is the most ridiculous idea...

It would need fuel and an onboard computer...

Your just upset that you did not come up with such a brilliant idea. Yes smart bullets would need a fuel source but as for the onboard computer if cellphones can get smaller and smaller each year why not computers. There is no need Cyborg to be jealous of "my" inventive ideas. Cyborg how about I appoint you on my scientific reasearch board for the development of the Smart Bullet just to show you their are no hard feelings. ;) :P

Your welcome but seriously a bent barrel of a weapon to fire around corners it's just not a practical idea to me. It seems so many things can effect the performance of the weapon itself so to me it's totally useless.

I wasn't referring to the onboard computer as something impossible to implement.

I was referring to it because of its cost. Bullets would cost many (hundred) times as much if they needed fuel and a computer steering program.

Also, a bullet can't change course fast enough to be able to be used in urban wars, because it would hit something in its big turning radius.

Also, if the bullets reacted to heat, they would hit anything. I could just light up something and lay it next to me, and the bullet would hit that instead. Or, if it measured the temperature to find something with human heat, that would easily be fooled too.

To be sure to hit, you would need a target system, which would need you to know where the target it. It could be done with sattelites, but this is such an expensive solution compared to a gun that can be turned around a corner.

It's actually totally useless... We have missiles doing the job of your bullet already, and they're called cruise missiles.

There's a reason why they're big, because as they are very expensive, they need an expensive target so that the high cost is somewhat justified...

I think the best invention would be where no bullets are required to kill anything. ;)

That would be a really smart thing to do.

We already have those. :D Knives.Poison,etc. ;)

Seriously, the best invention would be like we can command armies using a computer game system. ;D

Or to implement a small amount of explosives into each human brain, so that if someone are to die, it's just to log onto that person's chip and detonate the charge...

we need to invent a vehicle that travels on catipillar threads, has thick steel armor plating and had has a turret with a large cannon mounted in the turret ;)
