House Feud 2

GhostHunter

Recommended Posts

Got sick of waiting weeks on end for Inco to make it so here's the official thread.

Rules:

No God modding

No super-weapons such as biological, chemical, germ, satilite, etc.

No one-post appearences...Ex: "It was a happy day on Gedi Prime then suddenly back on Caladan the Duke wanted to attack and 80 Atreides legions appeared twenty minutes later over Carthage. 'Hi ya doing?'

Arrakis is the ONLY source of spice...No threatning Arrakis in any way

Edmund Ecaz looked through the reports and sighed.

The Known Universe was going to war...yet again.

Edmund Ecaz sighed again and pressed a button. It would be better to be making allies now than when it was being invaded.

An aide scurried in.

"Yes,M'Lord?"

"Send envoys to House Atreides and Vernius,we need allies, and fast!"

"Yes,M'Lord..."

The aide scurried away...And Edmund Ecaz picked up a comlink...

Projectile-bullets echoed across the battlefield. Flickers of artillery fire lit up the night as the the Atreides continued to duke it out with the opposition. Thousands of enemy soldiers came out of their trenches, weapons drawn and began firing on the out-numbered Atreides defenders.

"M'Lord..."

"Yes, Gandiir?"

"Atreides has accepted our alliance treaty."

"Excellent! Now Mentat, we need to start training our troops. How about a small number first,1000 or so..."

"Yes,M'Lord..."

"Would you stop calling me by that name! Its so annoying!"

"As you wish, M'L- Edmund."

The Mentat bowed and retreated into the shadows.

Edmund sighed and picked up a sheet of paper. If he was going to have an alliance with the Atreides, then he should send at least some peace message.....

Kensai Shrin looked over his reports.

It has been years sense the house of Ginaz and their swordmasters had gone to war, but the known universe was getting very touchy, and it looked as if the Swordmasters may have to fight again.

(OCC, before I continue, why are we fighting, and who is all opposed to the atreides)

One could hear the uproarious laugh coming from the fuming palace. The Baron levitated close to the main window of his palace, almost threatening to fall out and splatter his obese little body against the pavement. He laughed time and time again, not caring for the odd looks he got from his new mentat. He grinned finally and pronounced in a loud, yet clear voice:

"Those foolish Atreides! They think their new alliance with Ecaz will give them an edge over us! Ludicrous! They are but filth that my ships will wipe off the face of the Universe!" He rocked and laughed as he said this, turning his bloodshot red eyes to the new Mentat. "Why are you standing here? Go get the troops ready, we're going for a little sterilization mission. We are the Harkonnen! We cleanse our destiny".

The Mentat's eyes swiveled, avoiding the Baron's maniacal stare. He twitched his red lips and simply replied "It shall be done, master".

The Mentat walked through the halls of the palace, inwardly cursing the day that he was bred by the Tleilaxu to serve this crazy bastard.

"Bah. These males and their wars." Reverend Mother Elspeth made an attempt at a sneer. She used facial expressions so rarely that it was quite an effort. Mother Superior Isobel Vaedran smiled genuinely.

"We cannot expect everyone to be as enlightened as we." She said calmly.

"No, but you'd think they'd at least learn some sense from us!" Elspeth groaned. "Now the spice will slow and we all know what that means."

"We have... resources." Isobel paused slightly, remembering past occurances. "The important thing is to maintain ourselves."

"The sisterhood must endure." Elspeth agreed.

"We shall remain neutral unless absolutely necessary to do otherwise." Isobel added.

"Precisely." Elspeth calmed slightly.

"And we shall ask what happens to Arrakis of course. I wonder if anyone will attempt to take control that way?"
