problems with connecting

when i start a game it freezes when its connecting. I tried it 5 times, reset my comp etc...

any1 have this 2?

i dont have handshake failed but it just freezes when the connecting screen comes up...

and its 2 pl and 4 pl

tried it 10 times now... i give up :'(

Ok this is very weird. I reinstalled emp and now it doesnt instantly freeze when u get the disconnection screen but now it freezes 5 seconds later.How can u explain this :O

keep reinstalling and maybe it will add 5 secs everytime lol or u could scan for viruses on your comp

Everyone is experiencing this problem at the moment,

Ken said it's the Blaster worm causing it.

I asked alot of people at the weekend and this appears to be happening alot with connections to US members and players.

I know what u mean,my game just freezes when where all connecting I think its got to do with the server.Ive re-installed emperor and it still does it.I cant even Ctrl & ESC to get out of it.So if you know how fix the problem let me know.

its froze twice yesterday when connecting screen came up,

i cudnt move my mouse and nothing in the b.ground was moving

Well i would like to know what is going on maybe Gob has a # that someone could call for EA that we could at least get a few answers as to weather there shutting ww servers down or if its just a virus then at least we know what to do?

but i do get the odd game that works on emp

is it worth playing if u play 1 of 20 games?

i freeze after about 3 seconds....the only thing i can do after is hold in the power button till my comp goes off

I doubt they are shutting the servers down because some people are still able to get games. I can try asking Chris Rubyor as I think he still works with EA but I don't know if he would still be able to help.

Does anyone know if it is happening in other WOL games? Like Red Alert or Renegade?

I tryed to contacting EA i emailed them from the tech support site i think if enough ppl email them they will have to help us out. What do you think Gob?
