In the article, it says:And ninja-style warrior Jool Noret, mourning the death of his father, Zon Noret, resolves to become the most deadly living weapon against the machines, recruiting a group of like-minded followers.

But in the Preludes it is said by one swordmaster that Jool Noret refused to learn anyone anything, no matter how they begged him to. Do you think this is an error or will it be explained in the book?

well, all that the quote says is that he "recruited them" not necessarily that he trained them.

Yeah, but why recruit them to fight if you don't want to train or at least help them?
