Tom Petty & The Heartbrakers

I've been listening to a bunch of Tom Petty CDs and such, and I've come to the conclusion that he has never written a bad song. I know this is kind of spam-like, but I trully can't find a bad song by Tom Petty...

I'm sure many haven't heard of Tom Petty, but I was also wondering whether anyone else knows of similar bands with that quality?

good band. he is a good buddy with Johnny Cash, who is one of the best musicians of all-time.

they do have at least one bad song though. "Free Falling". i hate that song. it's so obnoxious.

btw you'd probably like Cash's cover of " I Won't Back Down" from his American III album. it's quite good

I agree with you I.9 Tom Petty has done a lot of brilliant stuff..the only commparison i can think of is Pink Floyd..I think that even more people aint heard of them :O

Lol, Sonic. Pink Floyd are incredibly famous. Tom Petty is great and I've loved his music ever since my parents continuously played it over the stereo. :D

My favorite Tom Petty song is "Running Down a Dream". "I won't Back Down" is also pretty good. I don't know too many other songs of his though.
