I dont even know what Doom is like i just remember seeing a friend play it a while back, it looked like he was shooting a bunch of zombies with german ww2 helmets with a bulky pistol, give me a link im lazy

its about the plutonia experiment (i think thats what it is called)- its an experiment that was done..um... a while ago... and they did stuf... and.. um i cant remember the rest.. but it is good!

Even though there is a (good) story in Doom, who cares when playing it?

I first read the story after I finished both the first Dooms :).

My point was that even though you don't know it, Doom has a story if you care about knowing it.

i think a story line is very important in FPS's (admittedly i didnt know what the hell was going on when i play it but it was still.... kinda fun...ish)

but id say that a good story line accounts for maybe 40% of the game
