They are a race that makes gholas, or clones, in tanks. Not really liked around Dune universe, but they are sometimes used by the Harkonnen's and renegade tasks.

BTW, they're really religious (their religion is not O.C.-Bible-based, but Zensunni), they don't allow outsiders to their world, they look really weird (small, sharp teeth, gray-skinned with orange patches IIRC) and they dislike technology.

They have face-dancers as some kind of slaves.

AntiPasta: I have to disagree... the Tleilaxu have their own religion therefore they cannot be Zensunni.

They use technology on a wide scale because without technology they wouldn't be able to make their twisted Mentats, gholas and mechanic eyes (which Paul Muad-Dib Bough for his blinded Fremen warriors in Dune Messiah.

Burseg: there's only a tiny correction here: 1 simple cell is not enough. They need specific cells to complete the "cloning"...

(Don't take this offensive, it's just in the book... ;) )

And in wich book is the info about the Tleilaxian/Zensunni religion.
