Actually i got my 8 yr old cousin to play i told him what each unit and building did. After that i put it on hard fishers max ai and let him go. He tried three times before he owned the comp. I guess if i would of had someone like me or someone with the patience to teach i would of caught on fast too. Next i will show him the internet

SO this is the best building order ive figured out. Ref Bar Fac Ref Sard Ref Sard Sard Fac Ref Fac Frem Frem Frem Ref Hang Star Super then whatever you choose, you have to build one harvester before anything else, and then build ten of the lowest tanks you can build, after that you will have to build an mcv and start a new base. never let up on your upgrading your refinerys, always check that, and always have support around your spice, if you get droned that your fault, keep a heavy ground support up, bikes, light inf, sards constantly once you get enough of an army you can go to your next tier, that goes for all units.... good luck and have fun guys :O

Tonights mordusxxx last night of emperor battle for dune for along time, so if anyone wants to get a game in you better come tonight, i'll be on for awhile, so come one come all, i'll miss you guys if you dont show up, maybe i'll pop in and out of the threads but i wont have a computer to play one where im going. later my dune soldiers ;D

well to throw my thoughts into this grinder. There are alot of things you must take into consideration when playing a game such as Emp, you cannot just think you will build massive amounts of units and throw them to your enemy and expect a win. There are reasons why we have a formation attack button on this game. Having such attack lets you know where and how you want your units to take on your opponent. If you think about it, how many times have you used a certain amount of units, and just kept demolishing the enemy, because you 1. place them in such a way that you render your enemies useless,2. The type of unit is much stronger then the ones your facing,and 3. you place your units in formation in such a way that your tanks and infantry protect each other. I'm not saying i can kill fifty buzzsaws and forty sards with two minos, but if the situation was me on top of a rock or with a carryall and he had no air units, i could most likely kill half his army. And the whole clicking thing, ive went through four mouses in the last five years... lol

So my xwis will not work, everytime i download it and try running it i get some weird thing that pops up telling me to try and re installing it, but that doesnt work either, i want to play but dont know what to do, heres what it says, this application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect, Reinstalling the application may fix the problem, anyone have any ideas?!?! plz dont move this guys i need some answers

Well i really havent put much thought into writing things on this thread, because theres so many of you guys that are just genius's it makes me look like a fifth grader reading national geographics. But lately, ive just been looking at the world and thinking, wow this place is just going to shit, i mean theres so many things a person can do in life, or could want to do, and so many people dont even try to experience life in its full beauty. So many people are worried about bills, or money, or woman/men, that they forget about stopping to smell a rose sometime, or looking at the clouds wondering, wow those are cool. I get so sick of watching everyone wander around like zombies, doing the same thing everyday and only looking forward, to that Sunday night with the guys watching a football game or getting to play a few hours on the internet, i mean really why does it have to be so complicated, why cant we just live?

This game is by far the best game ever made, if i can still keep coming back to it over so many new games, there has to be something to it, just imagine guys if we got thirty solid players on this game, it would be like before, so much competition, we could start tourneys, clan, ladder matches the whole nine yards think about it, its not lost, we "could" bring it back to full throttle if enough of us tried... ;D

well ive learned alot guys thanks, i fixed the problem, my heatsink cooler wasnt clamped down onto my cpu chip so i guess it was overheating glad all of you guys helped me with that one! =P j/k thanks for everything though. still going to buy scars computer though heh :O

Scar i'll buy it.. when income tax comes could i use this dell monitor on that computer or? also, ive came to conclusions its not my graphics card, has to be something else like video card or something, games run semi fine, in computer mode still some unwanted luggish lag, but then in online games it seems that the other person give me lag also, and when he leaves or dies, and its just me there the game runs ok, idk though i dont have any viruses on this computer or any thing like that i just reinstalled windows so everything should be brand spankin new, and scar do you think with that hardware you have i could run emp and world of warcraft fine or what?
