  1. Paying is NOT required to download.
  2. If that's not allowed, what about the abandonia and nahoo links? Do you really qualify downloading Dune 2 as pirating? BTW, links in your signature appear to be broken.
  3. Done: [link removed]BTW, turns out Nahoo doesn't require payment, you just have to be patient for 10 seconds or so. :p
  4. Convenience Not having to ask at forums for 'bad' sites to download it.
  5. Thanks. Would be nice to have an installer that also includes OpenDune :P
  6. It requires payment. Is there another location?
  7. In what way is it an odd choice?

Yeah, infinite memory has yet to be invented. ;) Manually specifying a larger stack should be no problem on Windows though.
  9. That doesn't sound right. It's the bit count. So :2 is 2 bits. Layout is undefined by C++ (compiler depended).
  10. // Frames per Sec = Delta /(2^10).
  11. Isn't TacticalPos the position of the screen and CursorPos that of the cursor/pointer? I've heard this before, units off-screen don't get as much CPU cycles. BTW, bits should really be counted from 0. ;)
  12. It's often just ignored.
  13. Why? What advantage would the Dune 2000 version of TM have over the Dune 2 version?
  14. Who did you talk to? Dune 2000 is based on the TD/RA engine AFAIK.
  15. It's mostly about a better to use UI, not about specific gameplay elements.
  16. Yeah, didn't expect TD to have support for multiple resolutions. BTW, wouldn't it be great to have clones of TD and RA1 with a RA2 'style' GUI?
  17. I did know about your patch. Didn't know TD Gold had a newer engine than RA.
  18. That's great work! Changing the 'display size' kinda changes the gameplay dynamics as well though.
  19. That must be it! :P
  20. 16 bit was such a disaster. Disassembling 32 bit is probably easier as well. Given that we've got a few Dune 2 clones though, why are we still concentrating on the original?
  21. Isn't TD a 32 bit app? I think a rewrite made sense.
  22. I think Westwood did it also with the Renegade Linux Dedicated Server. :P
  23. Did you make up those names yourself?
  24. Should be easy to figure out. What's the first offset? What's the second one? Does that match where you stop decoding frame 0? What if you continue from after frame 0?
  25. Ah, C#. I've got one in C++. Have you compared the output of both to see the first 4096 bytes are identical? Maybe it's not actually a bug in your code but other languages just don't detect the buffer overflow.
