Then why wasn't Stalin killed by the people? How come Castro isn't? Many communist countries in the world hates their leaders, yet, no one has the currage to kill them. Why? Because they can be killed themselves. Their families and friends can die. Just take a look on China, North Korea or Cuba. Your country would become one of those, if it became communist tomorrow. This is my theory: If we ever hit the new century, machines will NOT totaly takeover our lives or jobs. Every factory could have robots and other hi-tech machinery. So it would be 50% human 50% robots The robots are only there to make work easier. But think of the flaws that a fully automated factory could have. "Spies or Terrorists could easily shut/bomb the whole place with a EMP bomb, or something similiar." Maybe there could be security droids, but once again, they can be easily taken out by EMP related weapons or anything else that can easily take down a computer.(Cup of water ;D) "There could be 'AI' malfunctions in the robot, and if one robot malfunctions, the whole production can be sabotaged by the blunders of the robot" "Space travel by robots? You be the judge ::)" "And 'hackers' could be the #1 problem in that century. It is like encountering the game Counter-Strike every day, hackers everywhere, they could even break into your bank account since everybody will try to learn how to hack because of the new century. As you can see in the topic...... My thoughts about the two ideologies. Communism could happen in the future, if Capitalism/Democracy is milked out. Seeing how the so called 'elections' turns into 'who gathers the most cattle, with weak promises to the people' If the person gains power over the country, he will do whatever he wants. No matter if there is a 'UN or security council' Just like in Holland, different factions/parties promises the people things, but they won't meet up their promises and just try to rule the land forever, which won't happen, if you don't listen to the voices of the people. But still, Communism has some flaws, how could crime be stopped if there's no 'police force' Organized crime could exploit the 'share or work for your bread' thing. But I'm sure Communism could have some easily adjusted tweaks to the goverment, so it can run smoothly without problems. But whatever happens in the future, I hope the politics will change in all those corrupt nations with the likes of Bush and Blair.

Ruling party? Sorry, there is a ruling party in democracy. The president or premier, chairman, whatever you call it. Anyways, people still abuse the democracy. If we all voted no for war against Iraq, we still go at war with Iraq because "they" want it. The voting most of the time is just optional, if you like it or not, the politicians still changes things against our favor. And our democracy is more like a Fascist/Democracy hybrid. "Parties" are trying to gain people and treat the people like objects, you MUST vote. And if you don't... well........ Anyways, I don't know what our ideology is, I and the people sure don't like it.

Democracy is indeed wonderful, but the problem is. The ruling party abuses this to make the people believe that they are in might, but in the present days politicians abuses the ideology. If you voted for anything that the 'politics' think it won't be profitable for them, they will ignore it. They think that they can sweet talk people with the ideology. Vote our comrades! 51% of the votes will win!!!!!!! Later...... There are new rules, 80% of the votes will win. 80% wins...
