as the header says the US is working on it's new system that will allow it to bomb all over the world with out having bases in foreign countries. Accordingly to Janes Defence Weekly are the first tests to be done around 2006.

Isn't that what those subs with the big missile silos are for? ???

I was watching a program on History Network the other nite and it was showcasing submarines and such, cool stuff. There was one Uboat that was getting remodeled so that Navy Seals could use the missile tubes to launch covert ops.

Bah, they can destroy whatever, whenever, and whereever on this planet at anytime (ops, already said that). This "new weapon" is only to make it easier.

I'd like to have nucreal silo in space, to be able to threat those guys! If someone does the boss - pow!, he's gone!

you see Acriku, what the US are doing now is becomming independent from it's allies, I don't think they'll like it if, say China and Russia started to build such a program as well.

Such weapons aren't new. Not only USA, but also Russia, China, France and Great Britain have naval forces with conventional missiles ranged over 1500 km, not talking about strategic bombers and nuclear weapon silos. They can "bomb" anything on the world. Other thing is to conquer the land. Well, footmen must come across something.

i heard it is a plane that can fly mach 5, and reach any place in the world within 2 hours, and strike from the US anywhere on the planet. Nothing realy that scares me.. but it's another new technology
