Gert-Jan
I was just wondering why the repair facility/pad has been removed from this game. Could WW have done that to increase the differences between the Houses?
GhostHunter
Well Atreides have the repair vechicles..Harkonnen have self heal at the second level vetrenacy. And Ordos automaticly self heal..There's your answer..
Gert-Jan
What I meant was increasing the differences by altering their repairing possibilities.

lowzeewee
Or I think they just thought atr was weak and needed a repair vechicle.LOL. j/kLook at TibSun, Nod had a repair vechicle while GDI had a repair pad.
henry
Well... If you know the story behind you'll know.Atr. cares for lifes and therefore they're trying to keep their units' life at most cost. (So, why there's no infantry healing units) That's why the Repair Vehicles are there for Atr.Hark. on the other hand, doesn't give a dam about ifes so they would rather build new units than trying to "waste" resources to heal their men. However, with their tough armor, it's not much of a worry in balance in game.Ordos have purchased many illegal tech. from other houses, so their units can self heal. Actually I think people's understanding in Ordos is the lightest because Ordos never did exist(appear...?!) in the fiction of Dune.Got it? Gert-Jan
Yes, you have made it clear for me. Thanx!
henry
Anyway, one thing I am considering:As Atradies care about life, how about their infantries? There's no unit to heal them!
