Strange Dreams

OK here's a fairly odd one of mine:

I'm walking through a very tall building in the middle of a gothic city. The building is very dilapidated with whole chunks of flooring missing at times. I'm walking with a friend who also owns this building. At one point a large gap in the floor needs to be jumped over to make it to the other side. I jump and it seems as if I'm easily going to make it, but as soon as I reach the middle I fall straight down. I find myself in a huge, sunny, flat, grassy plain. The sky is bright and blue and the clouds are white and fluffy. All the colours are very bright and exaggerated and there are other people around me. We walk across a bridge, below which flows a river filled with skeletons and someone beside me tells me that the river is "akin to the skeletal spire". We continue across until we come to a huge open space filled with standing angels. In the centre there is a tall golden statue. Besides this statue is a shimmering in the air in the shape of a doorway. I step through this portal and it leads me to a grey place filled with flickering screens and lights and made of ugly concrete. I think that this place must be heaven but it feels uncomfortable. Then I remember another similar gateway to the other side of the statue and wonder whether I should have gone through that one instead. Then I awake.

BTW I have a friend who dreamt that he lay in bed all night unable to get to sleep lol.

Dude_Doc, I was afraid that actually might be real. Sometimes I wake up with bruses ( I don't actually know the word) on my body. But there's nothing in my bed that could actually hit, cut, etc. me.

Well here's another one I dreamt after I played Morrowind all day:

I'm outside a building that looks like the buildings in Vivec. It is night, but the light is green-blue. I know that inside the building the corridors are like a maze, and that there might be undeads inside, but , still I rush in and run through the corridors. I see some zombies that start to follow me slowly , as zombies do. After I get 5 or 6 of them to follow me I rush outside and then I wake up. That isn't so strange 'cause that's the tactic I use to draw the monsters into areas suitale for me.

I remember... a dream about the fear of being trapped in a mushroom. I was very young, then... And had probably seen one of these dire drawings of toadstools inhabited by fey-like creatures (yes, with windows, though no double-glazing), and connected the idea with mush*room*.

Oh! I just remembered another one. This one is about Dune.

I dreamt it in the graphics of DuneI and DuneII (!!!).

I was in a building inside an Atreides DuneII base, in a room with Duke Leto. There was also a woman with a name I can't remember. The Harkonnen were bombarding the place with missles and one of the missles hit the wall near the window. The explosion sent debris through the room, hitting the woman. The Duke kneels near her, sees she is dead, gets up and says:

" Look, she died as well."

And then I wake up.

They keep calling me to eat, they don't seem to hear what I say. After a while one of my oncles says something like: "Yes, I have been abducted when I was little too."

This is the creepiest part... uueeh, I'm going to sleep now... wish me luck...

Strange dreams?

4. I dream of being at my gradparents' house, evrybody is there, is like a family reunion. I see an UFO. I try to hide, but I know it can detect me wherever I hide. I try to warn the others, but no one listens. They keep calling me to eat, they don't seem to hear what I say. After a while one of my oncles says something like: "Yes, I have been abducted when I was little too." Then I creep out 'cause no one listens to him either. Then all goes blank, like I have fallen asleep in my own dream. Then I wake up in some cols, humid, environement. I am on ametal table, and I can feel that I am in a huge room. I dunno if I am awake or asleep, but I am too afraid to open my eyes. Eventually everithing goes blak again and I wake up.

I had a very similar dream, but the diference was that I was the only one who saw the UFOs, and I cannot remember if I was "abducted". I also was with my family, and i showed the ufos, but nobody could see them.

I remember other dream, that I was in front of a mirror in my grand father room. The mirror was shining, and a man (or something else) was going out from the mirror.

The most real and weird dream was... I don`t know how to say it... was about people living inside of an human being.

There were building with a strange form in the capilars and organs, and the people used a sort of type of strange submarines for transport inside the blood.

This drem happened years ago, but I still thinking about this.

Even the most ordinary of my dreams are more off the wall than most people's drug hallucinations. I'll use this very last night as an example.

I drive to the Y to work out. Pretty ordinary (my dreams always start and end normal). I get in the door, slide my card through the scanner, and all of a sudden people are screaming. I look behind me and there are several velociraptors running around causing havoc. I run for the locker room door, but when I go through it, it's not the locker room, it's the deli at the local grocery store. And the teletubbies are working there. The red one had a big cleaver and started to chase me. I ran through the produce section and hid in a giant mountain of cherries for a while. It worked but it turned me really red. When I slumped out of Mt. Cherry, there was this bigass bull in the grocery store and he started chasing me 'cause I was really red. I ran through another big silver door and all of a sudden I was back at the Y, but it was the pool. I jumped in and swam to the other side, so the red cherry dye washed off me and I got to the other side. I don't know how I got my bag back but all of a sudden I was carrying it, walking back to the car and drove home. :O

For me it wasn't in a sleep. Once I waked in the middle of the night, and my head was 1 big chaos. I couldn't think about normal things. Everything was so confused. But I knew I was awake, and I truly was. It continued even when I got out of bed, and walked a bit around. While normally I'm fully awake if I do that

I have done that.

The wierdest dream I've had yet was the other night. It was a "layer" dream.

Before that, I had a dream that I was walking down a dark road with my parents. They were gambling, drinking, and acting stupid (things they don't commonly do), and I was confronted by a beautiful woman in red. I start to talk to her, and she becomes a vampire and attacks me. Instead of screaming, I snarl...and awake.

This dream doesn't happen very often, but I've noticed that when I'm dreaming, if I can snarl-- fight back, in a dream of fear, I will wake.

I've also dreamed in games and reading. If I've been reading a book and I fall asleep after reading it, I will sometimes continue reading it, twisting the storyline to almost insane degrees. I've also dreamed in game universes, ST Elite Force, Sid Mier's Alpha Centauri, etc.

I almost always dream, though I hardly ever remember the content. Once I realize it is a dream, my subconcious discards it automatically. I've thought about keeping a dream diary, but I've never sat down and made myself. That would be interesting here or FanFic though :)

To remember as much as possible from a dream, do not move after you wake up. And don't open your eyes. Think about what you just saw and try to remember it. That is the best way.

Funny, last night I dreamnt I was playing Navaros or[/b[ Lowzeewee online with Age of Empires....FREAKY! (cant remember which it was though) And I got pissed at them.(they werent dieing.)

err, yah, scary dreams.

BTW I'm playing AoE lately.

Well, stop playing AoE. Start playing resident evil, Diablo, They Hunger, Half-Life, etc.

When I was playing HL, after I got up from the PC I was walking in starafe, and I always kept looking up on the ceiling for barnacles (those things with long tongues that pulled you up). I had a dream about HL once, but its just to embarrasing to say.
