I am 12- years old kid/brat, but I have played much. About... 7 or 8 years.

Dune 2 was released '92, but I saw it first time '94, or '92, I don't know, but year 1992 doesn't sound very clever, because I were at 1992 2 years old... ::)

Anyway, my father played it lot. He won it with all the three house. He was very good at it. I liked to watch my father playing Dune2.

Next game, that I saw was X-Com ... erm... The unknown enemy, can't remember right now... It was very intresting, too.

But... I played some games myself, too. Some topdown scrolling shooter called Major and... ash, cannot remember the name, but it was platform game. Both games were cool, especially Major. Maybe that is why my father says that I am so aggressive... ::)

... Some years after my father got Command & Congquer. Wow! It was cool! I played it also myself, but not much. I tested now also Dune 2, and enjoyed it. C&C had cool movies, cool units and so... I don't know, it is/was just so cool... 8)

And then the next... Tadadadadaa.... Red Alert ! It is/was too cool, and I enjoyed it as much as my father. My father played with my relative and lost. Lol, actually my relative was pretty good at that game...

Hmmm... I started to play a lot in the start of the grade school. I was... seven. And try to guess, what game I did play... Total Annihilation! :D I still play, because of it's cool units, storyline... and... I don't know! RTS games are just so cool! 8) PeeWees are my favourite units.

Humhum... I played my or my father's old RTS games until... untill.. eh, I just did play Red Alert some days ago... ::) Well, I got Half-Life's demo in 1998, when it was released. It was cool, but I got the full version in 2000. Hmm...

At the 4th grade, new student, Mathias (nicknamed KsaN) came to our class. He was from Sweden, but could speak Finnish. Before that, I played Fallout 1, but not much, because I didn't understand it very well.. :P

But, when Mathias came to our class, we become fast very good friends. One day he visited my home and found Fallout. He said, that the game is cool, but he has not played it a lot. This started my RPG gaming years. I played, played and played Fallout. I think, that I didn't play it trough, but I played it lot. Mathias and me thought, that it's OK game, but we didn't were big fanatics of it. Untill Fallout 2 (little comment... I know, that Fallout 1 was released when I started school, but I didn't know anything of it, then). Fallout 2 was bigger, coolier and funnier. Fallout 2 started my and Mathias' real Fallout boom. We both read everything, what was related to them, read the fan fictionals, and offcourse played the game. Nothing big happened several next years. Got Half-Life, Mathias moved back to Sweden (I still keep contact with him), but first time of my life I did really regret that I started to play computer games. Why? Because of my private matters. You probably can guess, but if you don't, I am not going to tell about it. ::) Whatever you think it was, it was not funny. *sigh* But my life continued.

Now begins the hard part... Cannot remember allmost anything ;D

Oh yes! Search of the Dune 1 begins... But I didn't never find it (Until now) !

And! I started to play Dune 2000, and again, it rocked. Humhum...

Wait! Are we in year 2000 or 1999? :D I think we are in 2001. Hmm... Year 2001... What did happen... Lol, cannot remember. Maybe I just played my old RTS games, demos and some new RTS games like Red Alert 2. Wait! When was it released? I don't remember anything right now... Well, I played Tiberium Sun before Red Alert 2. Both rocked. And... I got also... Eh... Maybe in 2002 Fallout Tactics. It was not RPG game like Fallout 1 & 2, but it was good. Aah, it's just so fun to play it... So cool weapons and maps... In the Christmast I got Arcanum. It's way too cool, you can make your own guns and robots, you can spell many many spells, you can solve many many quests and it has rather intresting plot. Whatever the else said.

I also started to search Wasteland. And found it. I would play it a lot, but I have not the manuals and other stuff, where I could read some things.

And now, the year 2003. Not playing so much anymore. Listening music, watching anime (extremely rarely), chatting, and trying to live real life. But I play still. Games like Half-Life, Emperor and Fallout. Hey! I forgot Emperor! Bad me bad me! >:(

Well, you know the story. Played it and couldn't stop! 8)

I think that I forgot something here, and I didn't write all the newest games, what I play, and some other games like ADOM and such. Anyway, I wanted just to tell about my history of gaming.

I am really really really sorry about my bad English and I will try to practrice it.

Sampsa dismisses.

Hehe,lol. ;D

MY History of Gaming

I first started playing when I was 4,in 1994.I still remember the first game I played, and it was really wierd, you were a construction worker an just went around, and everything was purple. Then i remember playing a game with my older brother similar to Ray-Man, except you were like a ninja ( ??? ) and you were stationed in a land of candy :O :O. I'm to lazy to continue this now, you'll see more of it later.

First game I've played was some kind of 2D shooter (Raptor?), which I've played on one friend's Amiga. In 1993 we bought a 286, on what I've played thousands fascinating things, between others F-19 or Prince of Persia.

I don't remember when I first started playing computers, but it was at a 80286(popularly called 2 86) computer.

My brother played pacman and other stuff that computer could run. One of the first games I remember playing is Wolfenstein 3D and Prince of Persia. I remember playing Wolfenstein 3d when my brother was at school and I was at home(because I was below school-age).

After a while, my brother bought himself a new computer(a pentium 75MHz), and we could run better games. The rest of the story is mostly like everybody else's.

You should try Major, it is just so cool. ;)

Major Stryker?

I can't remember, but it was vertical shooter. In that your boss was blue haired woman. Hmm... it had several planets, where to strike, and the final was something called "Lava Planet." Can't remember much else.

The first electronic game I EVER played was of a Russian cartoon (Soviet times) called "Nu Pogodi!" which almost means "Why You Little!" in English. ;D

It was on a pocket device I now call - The Soviet GBA. ;D

A lot of fun. My FIRST game ever. Nostalgic. ;)

Anyway, the story was a rip-off of Tom & Jerry. The cat was replaced with a wolf and the mouse with a rabbit.

The game's idea was to move the basket so that the eggs wouldn't fall on the ground.

Ah... It was in 1990, as I recall. Ah, the good ol' times. ;D

The game that followed that was also on a pocket device. It was SUPER MARIO BROS! :) Could be played with both Mario and Luigi. Two screens. Very fun also.

But my first PC game was some 3D mansion game with utterly poor graphics.

:)

Yes. Actually it's "Nu Pogodi", but yes - the proper translation would be "You wait!"

Ah, brings back the old memories... :)

As a matter of fact, I just watched it a week ago or so.

Used to like it alot when I was a little tyke.

"Nu pogodi... zaajatz!" :P

I played K240, Dune 2/1, Fury of the furries (gotta love that music [and incidentally the sandworm you see on startup]), UFO: enemy unknown (or XCOM: ufo defense to any non-europeans) among many many other fantastic amiga and PC games =).
