Stand up straighter, little man,

And give your pantaloons a hoist.

I certainly need no Dune instruction

From the dorsally moist.

Shimmering sun-burnt orange desert

Under shadows Muad'Dib emerges

Above hawk swoops

The meter's all wrong.

The imagery, trite.

And worst of all?

Fremen travel by night.

;D

Spawn of a louse

Muad'Dib was a mouse!

And if fremen slept by day

'Twas to escape the sun's rays

Stand up straighter, little man,

And give your pantaloons a hoist.

I certainly need no Dune instruction

From the dorsally moist.

;D

Absolutely lovable, we need more! :D

'Tis true you have no need to learn 'bout Dune

From someone as base as I

But I have learned from you

Fools proclaim themselves the most Dune wise.

Tsk, tsk, little man!

What a nasty thing to say

About your beloved heroes

Brian Herb and KJA! ;D

On wintry skies doth fireflies shine

Waves of sound ripple down

Towering mushrooms sprout o'er ground

There once was a man from Nantucket

Who said if he got a new Dune he would chuck it

Then he ran into old Kevin J.

Who saw him running and said, "Hey!"

And the man kicked him in the balls and said "Suck it!"

On wintry skies doth fireflies shine

Waves of sound ripple down

Towering mushrooms sprout o'er ground

Mother of Memory,

draw near with Thy Daughters!

This misshapen manling

thinks himself Roger Waters!

Of your "offerings" thus far

(And I mean no offense!)

this last proves you silly

and really quite dense.

Fireflies light the summer,

not wintry skies.

And "doth" would be one,

not multiple, flies!

And mushrooms as fungi

love warm, foetid spaces.

Like the echoing voids

behind fool midget faces.

Give it up, little 'noldo,

Your talents are spent.

Flee back to DumbNovels!

Or just go get bent.

:)

Wolf has written a limerick down.

Wolf has written a limerick down.

Wolf has written a limerick down.

And the writing's driven off my frown! :D

Ain't true they said they were the most dune geek-wise

Like those who create dune blog sites to criticize

And if they said they are the biggest dune fans

Why don't you lend a helping hand?

Fireflies may be flies or loss of reason

And wintry skies may be more than a season

'Shrooms can be as sinister as Genghis Khan

Which you should know since you live in Japan!

Arnoldo, you're wrong

Your excuses are lame

You think like a mong

Even preeks are ashamed

Why don't you lend a helping hand?

With you I shan't the claims of hacks dispute,

Just one niggling error of yours refute:

Hairy Ticks is more than blog!

And as for helping those "fans" rape Dune

I'd rather with a kulon spoon!

Now scurry back home, you silly mog.

Whenever have fireflies meant "loss of reason"?

(Thinking in Spanish again, amigo?)

I do truly fear that you must be confused.

(Even if not, you are still pendejo!)

No link can I see between fungus and Khan,

But you're history-challeng'd and here's why:

Genghis is the Khan who ruled over China.

The one who tried storming Japan: Kublai.

You cannot reduce a poem to etymology

The metaphors you plainly fail to see

Methinks there is nothing left to say in this matter

'Cept, you can lead a Kulon to water

But you can't make it drink!

All language can to etymology reduce.

You speak from your backside again.

Which makes me wonder, I now must confess,

If you poop from above your chin.

Priests of old invoked the moon

Bleeding hearts did sway and swoon

The High Priests now conjure the ice

Alas! the sheep won't think twice
