It is just the problem that those who tried, had corrupt governments/dictatures.

Actually, people are too greedy to give a good nickel about Communism... So if we want to utilize Communism in its fullest ideals, there should be:

For many people it would've been worse i think. Religion can greatly help people in times of trouble and pain. Overall for the world... i can't say. Crusades and Jihads and stuff killed people for nothing but beliefs.... but hey! i'm no saint either

Without religion, there would be chaos. But that doesn't mean religion should be here forever. Religion has had its time, and it must leave and let us move on. A lot of people cannot stay moral without a big bad fairy in the sky telling them what to do, so chaos would result. But, we can slowly turn more and more secular (which is what we are doing hopefully), and allow people to live without it.
