Cinemusic has up a review of Brian Tylers soundtrack to CoD, and it is very positive, stating that it is head ans shulders above the previous Dune soundtracks. They also have audio samples up of praised tracks "The Jihad" and "Inama Nushif", among others.

I liked the music in CoD a lot better than in the first mini-series. CoD had a very heroic soundtrack that could go head to head with the music in LOTR ,which I absolutely love. Of course nothing can top the "Prophecy" theme from the 1984 movie. That theme really defines Dune for me. I will definitely purchase a CD from CoD if one is available.
