we do not live in medieval times, assassination is work for terrorists only

*cough* spies *cough*

Ummm... yes, what kind of a question is that? You know how little of those gas it takes to kill a person? If you get the smallest bit on your skin or breath it in, you're dead in several minutes.

Hmmm... I didn't know that. Then I guess this toxin isn't such a big deal after all.

1. poison is outdated man.

2. in gas form it will not be half as effective as when it's fluid.

3. if you put that gas in grenades so you create an explosion that will kill everone in the neighbourhood it's not much more effective than a normal grenade. And the time that grenades were still used en masse is over. Tactical missiles is the current way of warfare, poison like that won't help a bit

yes, but it won't work as fast as when it's in fluid, besides... perhaps if you see it coming, you can hold your breath, cover your nose and run away, perhaps even surviving it.

There are gases that'll kill you in minutes, so what is so big and bad about this toxic?

i wasn't talking about making a weapon of mass destruction.

and for your FYI belziele:

LD50 (lethal dose to kill 50%)

Agents

Tabun (GA)

Sarin (GB)

Soman (GD)

GF Nerve Agent

VX Nerve Agent

Toxicity: Lethal doses

Skin LD50 (from least to most toxic)

GA, GB: 1000, 1700 mg

GD, GF: 50, 30 mg

VX: 10 mg

Vapor LCt50 (from least to most toxic)

GA: 400 mg-min/m3

GB: 100 mg-min/m3

GD: 70 mg-min/m3

GF: Unknown

VX: 50 mg-min/m3

As you can see, Sarine gas has a lethality of 1000mg = 1 gram. Palytoxin is 200,000 times deadlier than sarin gas.

VX gas, btw is more lethal then sarin.

Most deadly nerve gases are colorless, dude

If you want someone dead in this world, it's not realy a big deal. Terrorists have a great time nowadays. It's almost impossible to find out who's a terrorist and who is not. If i wanted to kill someone important right now, i think i could do it... with a bit of planning, a simple pistol and the will to achieve my goal.

Then you are not familiar with WWII where chemical gases were used and went with the wind, letting FEW survive, where millions could not run from it.

Sorry guys, PALYTOXIN OWNS ALL as far as lethality.

With nerve gasses....like Sarin, VX...you can actually LIVE by injecting yourself with Atropine after exposure..

NOT with palytoxin. You come in contact with this stuff, and

You *will* die.

Lethality is not the most important factor. Availability, durability, easiness to use and mass damage is.

who are you kidding? The only millions of people that died from gas were the jews, in the gas chambers. In normal war i bet hardly anyone died from gas there. Besides, if the wind blew it around it's concentration would be negligible, that your body could even handle that.

ah k, i do not have much knowledge on WWI, however, there must be a reason though that they did not use those weapons in WWII.

I do not have history channel, i however do watch documentaries at canal+ quite often, it shows a lot of reveiling information

In WWI hundreds of thousands of people died of mustard gas. And no, your body can't handle it without a gas mask. Try it and whatever the concentration, you'll be coughing up your lungs in the matter of minutes.

There was an unwritten agreement not to use chemical weapons, cause Germany was afraid of all the allied countries, who had so much of chemicals they could kill almost everyone in the major German cities.

hmm ok, that agreement still exists, but the US didn't use it vs. the japanese either... instead they used a nuke :(

Cause they had nothing to abide by. It was the first two nukes used in war.

Well the two nukes going off in Japan was a hard decision to make, but I would make the same decision, because instead of using nukes and thus end the war, it would've gone on for much longer, killing probably millions of soldiers on both sides.
