I use outlook and *knocks on wood* never encountered a virus that my virus scanner couldn't handle. Just make sure the scanner is up to date and you should be fine.

A little extra warning:

The macafee virusscan that is installed on hotmail and check your attachments seem to never be updated. Don't trust it. Check every files with other antivirus software no matter what the hotmail macafee crap says.

I got rid of the preview feature in my version of Outlook as soon as I heard about it on TechTV. Good little channel, any of you other guys watch it?
