Driver gone bad?

Shiet....i downloaded the new driver for my ATi card but now WarCraft3 looks Sh**ty...i mean the graphics are fine...it's just the text is not anti-aliased, and it looks horrible...the only way i can fix it now is to change the resolution to really high, but the game lags alot when i change it that way....is there any way to fix this, or uninstall the driver?

You should be able to reinstall an earlier version of your ATI video card driver (the one that used to work). I usually don't upgrade my video card drivers unless a game is not working correctly or some significant feature is added by the new driver.

Well, i cant, it came with WinXP and i cant the old driver ne where on the net....

but is there some way i can reinstall my old driver if i get a WinXP CD?? (i am not gonna buy it of course.... ;D)

What is your card/driver version currently?

right now it's 6.12.3279, it use to be 5.1.2001.0 (thats when i had no problems), seems weird that an actual update would mess it up entirely though....

Have you checked the settings for your card ? There might be an option which should improve the quality of your graphics. I've not owned an ATi card, so can't help you as to where to find the options.

a bit offtopic, but where is the settings for rollback, windows reserves a ridiculously large amount of disk space for it, and i cant remember where to turn it down.

Dunno about XP, but in Windows ME you can choose to restore. Start => Programs => Accesories => System tools => System restore.

it will be the same (or similar) for XP, thats a good suggestion, try it d'eagle, XP shouldve made save points automatically.

ATI has driver problems with multiple games unfortunately. New drivers will bring new possibilities.

Other than that, you might look for a special fix for this issue, or try to contact blizzard/ati.
