What type of music is the harkonnen one?

my suggestion is industrial, what do you guys think?

I've never heard of the 'industrial' genre as far as music is concerned, but I know what you mean from the sound of the music. I'd say the Harkonnen music is along the lines of heavy metal and rock. :)

EDIT: Ok what was I thinking, it isn't heavy metal. :( :P

nope don't think it is heavy metal, I think it is a combination between rock and industrial.

The Harkonnen theme is very industrial, which matches the Harkonnen's 'heavy machinary' motif. However, the composer of that theme is none-other than well-known New Age musician, David Arkenstone.

anyway I think that the dune2 music is one of the coolest, the commandos music, red alert and emperor is also among the best.
