I don't doubt there was a topic about this, but I have this game too now, for some weeks. And it really rocks :)

Just a thread to talk about the game. And say out some nice experiences.

You know that there is a total safe spot in Staunton Island for police/FBI/army? It's under the helix-up to the Shoreside Lift Bridge, on a roof :)

yeah, gta3 is pretty cool. The graphix are nice and the action is spectacular. But like GTA1 and 2 it didn't entertain me that long. still, it's fun to fight rivalising clans and damn, driving that car through red lights is realy cool, ending in a stunning crash with a truck

HEHEH yeah the chatterbox is hillarious, but i generally put my mp3 songs in the gta3 directory though and play my favorite songs, it is a realy cool option in gta3

and about cool actions.... i made many, can't realy tell which one was the coolest, but when i was driving my car, and i lost almost all that you can lose, you know... doors and stuff. and a hooker was sitting besides me... it was pretty damn funny what actions we made. chased by police cars, the SWAT teams and a helicopter.... cool action... Uzi drive by's 8). well i did die at the end ofcourse, one damn guy of that jellyfish gang pulled me out and like a 100 of his comrades started hitting me with their baseball bats while others used uzi's to kill me, not that they hit me though :) they only shot their comrades :)

And the hooker? she got blown up by all those guys who were firing at my car, just before they pulled me out ::)

Damn! I had a Tank in my hideout, and now it's gone!! :(

The nicest thing to do is to push cars into the water when they are waiting for the Lift Bridge to close :)

If you would ask me, I would say that GTA3 crosses the lines as far as appropriate gameplay goes. Capping a terrorist in the head is NOT even close to the same thing as banging a prostitute and then executing her JUST FOR THE FUN OF IT. That is just downright mentally-ill. Sure you may think it is "entertaining" but a line has to be drawn somewhere between fun, and sheer perversity. Next they are gonna have a game where you can actually undress the prostitutes right ::) downright sick.

It was on topic ::) GTA 1 is seriously outdated, with no replay value. But GTA4 sounds promising.

Sure it's outdated. Dune2 is also outdated. But both were revolutionary games, and GTA3 wasn't revolutionary.

Try this: put the trails off in the display options. It helped me. And I still must run 800x600x16 while I have a very fast com

And Razorox, if you have a problem with GTA3, don't play it, and move out of this thread.

Oh, what do you think people? Which island is the best? I mean qua design/buildings/special places etc.

its a new game. you can get some good secrets at www.cheatcc.com about hiding cars and stuff. in vice city you can ride motorcyles, etc.

Hmmm, don't tell me about GTA4, I must concentrate my fun on GTA3, now I don't know what's better about GTA4, so I'll keep that that way.

Hehe....relax razor, I haven't played it, but from what I can tell, you don't have to sleep with the prostitute then kill her. I mean I'm sure it involves killing gang members and the sort as well....the rest seems like it is a free choice to the player. I suppose some may and some may not.

hey after you complete 100 taxi missions you get a red cabbie with 4 spikes in the fron and the cab is red, it handles sooo well.oh yeah and after you complete the mafia missions got to the diablo place and a buggy will be there, take it its sooo fast and handles super well but you must be at the place between 11 and 12 at night. oh yeah and has anyone gotten the bulletbroof patriot?
