One of the biggest arguements for communism is that there is class disticntion. Taht in itself is false. There msut be people running things, therefore they must be a seperate "class" than everyone else, and more important, therefore they receive privileges that others do not, thereofre everyone is not equal.

Another problem is, if no matter how hard you work, no matter what you do, you are always going to get the same amount of money, then why work your ass off for nothing?

That is why it doesn't work like it is suppose to because someone has to be in charge and it usually ends up being a dictator. It's too easy for it to happen because whether we like it or not everyone won't be truly equal someone will be at the top in charge. I could be wrong but I don't see communism working because honestly it is a lie that promises false hope to the people who believe and trust those in charge.

Tobais o.k. you say Cuba and the former Soviet Union are not communists countries because they have dictators and that to date there have been no true communistic nations.

Totalitarian; designating a form of govrnment in which one party execises absolute control over all spheres of human life and opposition is outlawed.

You quoted me as follows

Things that need to be said do not get said because you con't speak out against teh government even if it's about improvement.

When I said that I was refering to the definition of the word totalitarian which happens to be a part of communism. Maybe there are varitions based apon the Marxism-Leninism ideology of socialism but I have yet to see one where the people( mainly their econmic state) benifit from that type of governing system. Communism does not encourage it discourages people from achieveing human satisfaction in the pursuit of life.

there is a lot of variations in communism,

like in any other form of government. The

kind of communism i(and most other communist)

seek is a complete democraty, and with

freedom of speech. Thats why its so hard to

discuss politics.
