Most movies have an official soundtrack. Two main types come to my mind at this moment :

1. Soundtrack with special compositions for the movie (i.e. Lord of the Rings)

2. Soundtrack with a mix of different songs from different bands/singers/groups.

The Q for you guys is, which one in your opinion is the best soundtrack ? (in any of the types, I mentioned before).

Share your preferences, maybe some of us are missing a good soundtrack !

In my side I like the LOTR and Shrek soundtracks.

Although "It's a Kind of Magic" isn't the official Highlander soundtrack, it's about as close as it gets.

Of course, I'm just a big Highlander fan...But it's still a good CD.
