there is a way to set the contaminator to be able to contaminate friendly units? or if there is a way to build/train units that when they come out of the factory are neutral?

or nyway to contaminate a unit into something other than the unit that contaminated it?

ie have a contmanator contaminate a unit so that it becomes a trooper or something

Nope, and I think it's impossible to make the contaminated units become something else.

However it may be possible to contaminate friendly units by using damagefriendly={amount of damage}. Have a try.

Why don't you try adding the lines: damagefriendlyamount = 100

and

damagefriendly = TRUE

These are for the bullet attributes. (Contaminator_B)

I actually got Snipers to creates additional snipers by telling the Snipergun to use the Contaminator_B bullet, but I couldn't get the Snipers to create contaminators out of the units they killed. Same with the Tleilaxu living turret, I could get the turret to leech, but when the enemy units died, they turned into additional living turrets, regardless of where they died. :P

Yes, as I said, I could make the living turret leech, but the problem was that the vehicles that were leeched turned into additional living turrets when they died, and not leeches.
