Ok anytime this century guys we could start to discuss the Butlerian Jihad. I know someone had mentioned that we should wait until everyone has the book but I would like to get this started alot sooner than waiting until later. To everyone who joined IM me only if you do not have the book.

[hide] ok I've about 100 pages in it and I must admit at first I didn't like it, I absolotely hate the names of the Titans and Xavier. anyways I think it became better and better. As chas and I talked bout on the channel BH and KJA seems to be better fit for these books. [/hide]

How long does it take you lot to read? The book took me 5 hours to read.

Sure, I'll join in, and I have a copy borrowed from my library. I'm a little more than half-way through it right now, and I'll have to return it as soon as I'm finished, but I've got a half-way decent memory and will be happy to discuss it with you guys :)

I only read 2-3 chapters every night that way it last longer and I can go think about the chapters until I read the next ones.

[hide] yes I agree but they should have choosen the name of the real titans then IMO Cronus, Oceanus, Coeus, Crius, Hyperion, Iapetus, Rhea, Thea, Themis, Mnemosyne, Phoebe and Tethys. but I guess that's just me :P . However I still can't decide if I like this book or not. [/hide]

[hide]Yes, but you'll notice (or come to find out) that General Agamemmnon is the one truly leading the conquest. Omnius (correct me if I'm wrong, or am letting secrets out too early ;) ) doesn't really care so much about destroying the human race...yet. Omnius has the will to rule and conquer, and a taste for victory, but his (its) emotions are far different from our own.[/hide]

Oh my God I love this book! The stories rule! Right now, I'm at [hide]where Agamemnon is on this asteroid conspiring with the other last remaining Titans, and in the other story about the first Sandworm rider! Kick ass![/hide]

So, Selim is the luckiest and possibly the best Fremen so far! The first sandrider, and now the first crysknife! That guy is awesome. I can't wait to find out if he gets revenge on that bastard Ebrahim.

That's also one of the things I dislike about the prequals. it's like they have this amount of pages. I know they aren't Frank but atleast they could honour him by not rushing through the books [/hide]
