Well depending on how popular SciFi's Children of Dune is they might continue on and make the rest of the novels into their own miniseries as well. The Dune novels are fairly complicated though.

I don't think I would like that, Dune deserves more than just a mini in my opinion, it would destroy my personal view on it, therefore I would not see them if they made minies on GoD, HoD and CH:D

The last one was far less entertaining than Lynch's Dune.

But if the 20th cent. fox'd make a normal film of the books I think it would be better...

that's not what I ment, I don't know how to explain it... I love Lynch's movie I just think a minie about the last novells would'nt be appropriate it would be a disgrace IMHO.

I reckon they should make new films but only if they can do it well so that it would please the fans and not sell out like lynch's film otherwise there is no point.

I think that if somebody would make films of the first 3 books it wouldn't be a good business because most of the people won't understand the film and will not like it because it's not full of action....

the star wars films were great. Perhaps if they made two trilogies of 3 films ang released themin the same way as they did for star wars it wud make them even better.  Especially if 20th century fox were makin them.

I doubt they will make another version of Dune. It is running out. You can only have so many attempts at a concept and it will eventually be terminated from remaking. Frank herberts books are just impossible to make into movies just as good as the book itself. We all have to face that reality. even though its really hard.lol

I agree with TMA. David Lynch's Dune was a good tryout but it couldn't reach that level by FH.
